Thai Massage involves the applied practice of Loving kindness through various Bodywork techniques. Thai massage was practiced and popularized by Jivaka Kumar Bhaccha, physician to The Buddha, more than 2,500 years ago in India. It is also described as Thai yoga massage because the therapist uses his or her hands, knees, legs, and feet to move you into a series of yoga-like stretches with deep tissue pressure. Show up wearing loose comfortable clothing and ready to stretch and be stretched. We will learn to do a short sequence of Traditional Thai Massage moves on our friends and family. Come solo or with a friend and be prepared to have fun while opening the body, heart and mind.

D’vorah has been practicing Thai Massage since 1993 and has been teaching internationally since 2001. She integrates her healing work with rhythm and improvisation, mindfulness practices and Vipassana meditation. She has a private practice in Ashland, Oregon and is an instructor in and founding member of the Thai Healing Alliance International. More Info www.ThaiTherapeutics.com
