Maesyn is a modern Muse and a force of nature. Her artistry encompasses a broad spectrum of natural talents. She is a wildly electric, sensually eclectic violinist, vocalist, and songwriter. The music from her debut album, “Now.here!” is an amalgamation of funky grooves, sultry passionate vocals, orchestral musicality, sophisticated lyricism, and inspirational esotericism. The album was recorded by Bob Tucker (India Arie, Tupac, The Temptations) and Lior Goldenberg (Alanis Morisette, Sheryl Crow, Macy Grey). It was mixed by Lior Goldenberg and Dave Way (Michael Jackson, Macy Grey, Fiona Apple).
Maesyn is best known for her improvisational spontaneity, lush resonant vocals and playfully passionate violin.
Classically trained on violin since the age of 4, Maesyn composes all of her own orchestration, and thrives on improvisation.
She fronts her own band, and also has performed (vox & violin) on stage for thousands as a special guest with artists such as Matisyahu, DJ Shpongle, & Killa Priest (Wu Tang Clan). She spent a year touring the West Coast fronting the conscious hip-hop band, Luminaries.
